Terms of Use
ClassGuard, built by Kryft. Version 2026-10 · last updated 6 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Kryft (an LLP registered with the SECP, CUIN 0347008; contact [email protected]) about using ClassGuard. Schools that buy ClassGuard also sign our School Data Agreement, which takes priority over these terms where they differ. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use ClassGuard
- Adults (parents, teachers, school staff) can create accounts. By signing up you confirm you are an adult.
- Students use accounts created for them by their school or parent. A child may not create their own account.
- A school that registers confirms that it has the authority to use ClassGuard for its students and that it has their parents' permission.
2. What ClassGuard does, and its limits
ClassGuard schedules and runs online classes, keeps a student's Android phone in the class app during class, measures focus on the phone (with parental consent), and produces attendance, reports and homework tools.
Please understand the limits:
- The class lock works on Android 10 or newer. It can't fully stop a determined user who has physical control of the phone (for example by restarting it in safe mode or factory-resetting it); ClassGuard reports such events to parents and teachers where it can detect them.
- Focus scores are an aid, not a judgement. They can be wrong (poor light, a covered camera, glasses). Please don't use them as the only basis for decisions about a child.
- ClassGuard needs an internet connection for classes and live features.
- ClassGuard is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it to locate a child or to reach help.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your password and exit PINs private. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.
- Use ClassGuard only for education and family supervision, and only for children you are responsible for (as their parent, guardian or school).
- Don't upload anything illegal, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share. Teachers are responsible for the class materials they upload.
- Don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around ClassGuard's security, or access another school's or family's data.
- Don't record other people in a class without their consent. ClassGuard itself does not record classes.
4. Schools' and parents' control
The school controls its students' accounts, classes and records. A parent controls their own account, their consent to focus tracking, and, for a family account, their children's accounts. Kryft may suspend a school's new seats or access if invoices are unpaid, as described in the school's agreement; students' existing data is not deleted because of unpaid invoices without notice.
5. Fees
Families and schools pay the prices shown or agreed in writing. Prices exclude taxes unless stated. We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
6. Content and ownership
You keep ownership of what you upload (homework, materials, messages). You give Kryft permission to store, process and display it only to provide ClassGuard to you and the people you share it with. ClassGuard's software, design and name belong to Kryft.
7. Suspension and ending
You can stop using ClassGuard and delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts children at risk, telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep ClassGuard available and safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change features; if a change removes something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.
9. Liability
ClassGuard is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, Kryft is not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control (such as internet or phone failures). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer and data protection laws of your country.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll update the date at the top and tell account holders in the app before important changes apply.
